About me

After training as an accountant, Tony worked in public practice focused on financial accounting and taxation, before moving into the commercial arena. Whilst working in corporate finance, Tony expanded his focus to include detailed analysis of operations, marketing and scenario planning. As the Financial Controller for AsiaPac & Japan, Tony was responsible for the revenue recognition, financial control and FP&A of the teams in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong & Japan, and was part of the Global Executive team for a $200m software team.

After 15 years in finance, Tony pivoted to focus on sales and customer acquisition of business intelligence solutions, the tools he had actively used for the prior ten years. He was responsible for winning new customer logos such as Commonwealth Bank, Department of Defence and Jones Lang LaSalle, repeatedly making the company honour roll for sales and building a reputation for championing end-to-end solutions.

In 2006, Tony struck out on his own, founding Nano Blue, the first international distributor for Logi Analytics and focused on dashboard, reporting and analytics solutions. He was responsible for growing business in AsiaPac, including new customers in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan such as MinterElllison, CoreLogic and Singapore Defence Services Organisation.

At home, Tony, a recent widower, spends time with his two children and myriad of pets. He only has three jokes, but likes to hone his skills telling these same “dad jokes” over and over, much to the chagrin of his kids. The pets don’t seem to mind.”
